They have the classic black saddle, a little black on face,tail and ears and the rest of the body sable/tan which is what they're advertised as 'BLACK/TAN OR BLACK/SABLE. Which now I've found is called 'red'. I'll also be honest in saying that the first couple 'East Germany type' I would have never thought to be GSD's. I'm learning more every day-Thanks.
