Distemper -- similar fluid support and just general care?
I think that would be the way to go. The Parvaid and antibiotics will also help.
Abi has a lovely face. So sorry you lost her.

Mallory
You can set an alarm for every hour or two during the night for medicating the pups through the night.

Merry Christmas!!!!
Everyone lived through te night! It was pretty rough at about 4am, but everyone pulled through, and was up walking around this morning, and decided to all steal my pillow when i got up to use te potty.
I am going to try some food again.

Dear Mallory: I am so sorry to hear about your little abbi!!! I believe where you boarded them is very unprofessional and uncaring!! I can see why no one wanted to make eye contact with you!
What a shock to walk in and not even be prepared for the worst!!!
I pray the rest of the little ones will be ok and become rolly polly little healthy pups!
Sorry to hear of your loss.
God bless you

Well, maybe you are too busy and ready to take care of the other pups to bawl right now. But don't worry when the time is right it will come.
I agree with making a slightly warm little puppy broth for them to slurp up. Can you contain the cats somehow? My cat would love to slurp up some ground turkey broth!!
Please keep us posted. This whole thing just breaks my heart!
GOd bless you

um, another pup just died, he was doing the worse, and he was ok, but since i got up this morning, he started going real fast. He was pretty listless, before i could even get to a vet, he went super stiff, groaned and then died. This was about 10 minutes ago. I did doggy cpr(i am trained in dog cpr and first aid), he came back for a few minutes, i called a ride to the vet, but he died. Out of the litter, he was the 2nd biggest, abbi being the biggest, which is really throwing me, i would have expected the runt to go, but he is doing the best out of all of them.

Dear Mallory: Man!!! what an experience!! Poor little guy! and I am sorry your heart has to be wrenched like this.
Maybe the vet can give you some encouragment, some pointers for the other pups, did she? Or maybe it is just the wait and see time, which is gruelling!!!!!
Boy you sure have received great advise from the forum members!!!

the vet thinks it is just wait and see-yes, i have gotten great advice!
so, i can't find that damn large syringe, but being the innovative person that i am, i found an old hair dye application bottle, i cleaned it out super well, and filled it with grated chicken, broth, kelp, alfalfa and vit. c powder, and some pedialyte, and am using that to "syringe" feed them. Boy, they hate it, but they need food, and they won't eat anything.
