Ok guys i d like to report that things are going great!
M at 1350g/day 950necks and 400meat! + carrots, vit C, E and fish oil. Stools are amazing!
I baught chicken quarters and some liver that m gonna introduce bit by bit but here s my main question.
It s obvious that karly s growing, but he s still keeping the same weight of 23kgs. So m basically at around 5% of body weight.
He s more hungry at night. Yesterday i went bersek and wanted to test sthg. I fed him 1.2kgs(half his 10% portion in one go at night) so a total of around 2kgs/3 meals for the day. He loooved it and became soo energetic (the most i ve seen him be). he ate ALL of it and i ve had perfect logs all day!!! i tried doing the same today but it didnt work.
I want to up his intake. Should i feed him an other time so 4meals and then go back to 3? Or up the intake bit by bit at night?
(He s still super skinny all ribs showing and all)
One other thing:
I found a positive reinforcement trainer in leb but the only way he accepts to train is to keep the dog at his kennel and have me come visit. He feeds kibble thogh and i know karly wont touch it (plus he s v skinny now). I ve trained him as much as i can alone but know it d be better to be guided by a professional (he s a schutzhund trainer too
What do u guys suggest i do? He doesnt mind if i took him karly s food and packed it in his freezer but knows nothing about feeding raw and i dont really know if i can trust the hygene there :S
Any advice?
quick update:
tried adding some skin and fat to the necks, karly went back to watery stool. i didnt wanna fast him so i added bit more yogurt, eliminated the fat and lessened the meat for a day. i also stopped E and salmon oil.
would that be a good way to go?
i m looking for canned pumpkin to add if problem persists; maybe a next step would be immodium ?
btw it s very weird but when m not posting and only reading posts, i feel a bit weird ... it s like you ve been around all these months and now i talk to you a bit less ... it s just weird! cant explain it! what i m trying to tell you is that i kinda miss you guys!!!
