OMG! Kelly, my heart is breaking with yours. The tears are falling freely as I type this. I'm so sorry for what you must be going through and for what Faith has been through.
You did not fail her! You did everything you possibly could and the rest was out of your hands. You WILL meet her at the Bridge. She will be waiting for you and only you.
Oh Kelly, my heart breaks for you and for Faith.
This was not what I was expecting...just absolutely heartbreaking!
I am so very sorry. Please know you did all you could and I am so sorry for what you are going through now.
Oh Kelly, I was hoping the outcome would be better. You did not fail her, she will meet you at the bridge. You and Betty did everything possible. While hearts may be breaking you did everything possible; I share your sorrow.
Kelly, I am so, so sorry that things did not turn out the way they should have. There is no doubt in my mind that Faith could feel your love for her even though there were miles between you.
You absolutely *did not* fail her. You did everything in your power to save her. She will be waiting at the Bridge to receive her kisses from you.

Dear Kelly, I am so sorry for this loss. So many wonderful dogs and the best we can do is PTS. My heart is heavy with sadness, knowing Faith is gone. You have kindled my commitment to adopt a third dog once we have Jethro settled. You did a wonderful thing, even if you were unable to stop the process that ended Faith's life.
Kelly, I am so very sorry that this did not turn out as we all were hoping it would, it was obvious that if this dog had the chance, you were going to ensure that it would happen.
YOU did NOT let this dog down by any stretch of the imagination and we simply won't let you go there.
I am so very sorry. What a sweet expression on her precious little face.
I am so sorry, Kelly and I am so very sorry, Faith.
In future, what would one have to do to pull a dog in a situation like this? Is it a regular adoption thing or do they just allow you to pull them in the name of whichever rescue you are helping? I want to know in case you ever find one I can help. I know I can't foster right now, but maybe I could at least pull one and transport it. I want to help, in Faith's honor.
What can I do to prevent this from happening again?
