I'm not likely to find any potentially educational arguments here.
From where I sit, you found a LOT of arguments againt the idea that service dogs should be condemned as "village idiots" or punished for being what they are.
Your O.P. suggested that "many people" on the forum fell into that category, and "many people" argued that they do not.
The lot is very securely fenced with warning signs everywhere, so that anyone who climbs the fence to get in is assumed to be up to no good. The parts theft problem stopped as soon as they got the dog.
When this junkyard dog is "Savagely taking down a child" in this yard, who is going to stop him!? THAT, is in direct conflict to what you posted earlier!
And to link an innocent word like "child" when you obviously meant "10 year old gangbanger"...that is deceitful. Reminds me of the gun grabbing government types who want to use gang violence and anyone up to the age of 20 to be called a "child" when they do their stats on gun violence involving "children"
I know a 10 year old is a child. A 10 year old meaning to kill me is nothing more than a threat that needs to be neutralized. BTW...you say your dog is faultless in reading people and knowing their intent. I Assume you have no problem if he eats up a 10 year old gangbanger trying to shoot you. Reminds me of Rosie O'Donnel. She wants to ban all guns but has personal security guards armed to the teeth. Hypocrite.
Got a late run. Susan, I'll respectfully withdraw the first paragraph in my last post as you originally omitted the fact that the dog lives with the owners on site. The rest stands. I'm done as well.
