"how many dogs, not your own, have you trained"
Oh no, Michael - I asked you that very question many replies ago and you didn't answer, don't you DARE question other posters' training backgrounds here ( and she's a MWD handler......by far more qualified to train dogs then you'll ever be ).
Most posters here have more experience that you - and leave it at that unless you'd like your lack of experience high-lighted here.
Tread carefully.

Very nice way to AGAIN sidestep the question. What, EXACTLY is it that you have done in training? You can't avoid answering the question by turning it around on someone else to bully, especially when you still haven't answered!

Michael, do you realize that you have pictures on your website, that show dominant behavior between dogs?

how many dogs, not your own, have you trained
Dogs other than my own, for PPD? None.
Nor do I claim that I've trained a PPD.
I am in the process of training my own dog.
My experience comes from working with already trained dogs, and observing other dogs being trained.
My husband trained several dogs in PPD, and titled 3 in French Ring, with trainer Jean Claude Balu.
The Military Working Dogs that I've worked with, were trained prior to my meeting them.
I assisted their handlers, worked alongside them, and was happy to serve as a decoy at times, to keep the dogs fresh.
I handled our MWDs, so that in the likely event (it was combat) that the handler was injured or killed, we didn't have a loose, out of control dog on our hands.

well, "around here" the titles help to separate the show-offs from the ones who actually know what in the hell they are talking about. How in the h*ll can you offer a service to clients that you yourself have never done before? Titling a dog in ringsport or schutzhund is not about the "title" like it is in AKC dog shows. The title is the proof of the accomplishment, and the level of training.
For personal protection, it's the best training "certification" one can get for personal protection dog training. It's what separates the real trainers from the dabblers.
Offering protection training when you yourself have no clue what at ALL you are doing, with dogs that have NOT been tested by someone who actually KNOWS what they are doing is DANGEROUS. But you don't have to believe me. You can just wait for the first time one of your nervy out of control "personal protection" dogs badly injure someone due to lack of control and training. I feel sorry for the dogs and the owners that are subjected to your training.

Pet resort, huh? Most of my animal aggression clients come from our local one. Either there was an issue on site, or the dog was denied access for exhibiting aggressive behavour during the screening process. One that may barely pass the process could very easily cause a problem on site.
Be that as it may...I maintain a good relationship with them because they are good people even if I don't agree with the philosophy. Also because it keeps me busy.
