since I only had a bone in his poop when he just started the raw, diet, I think that I would go for the water intake.
We had a temperature increase (about 10oC in 12hr) and the dogs were nuts, running and rolling in the snow and panting (did not happen a lot during winter).
I know that it is a factor in horses. That was the day before (wednesday). On the morning that he got sick (thursday) he had to be put away in his crate has the were people working at the farm and one guy was very scared of dogs. So he had a lot less activity or acess to water that morning, by luch time he was sick.
I also had to use turkey wings instead of chicken quarter, but gave more mm. I still use a scale as he seem to like very even meals.
He was also pooping and peeing normaly until after he started to vomit and was acting normaly that morning.
He was the one that had digestion issue when I got him.
For now, he will eat that crap food that they gave me, unless he had pudding poop. Then I am going back to quarter legs and chicken neck.
I can have turket neck but chicken back are impossible to get at the moment. He is not too happy to eat raw fish, but will do caned sardines.
His normal meal is 600g+/- 15g x 2day
leg about 300g
liver 60g
other mm 150g
rest is neck 90g
salmon oil and vit E
2 raw egg (over the normal meal) week and 2 caned sardine ((+/-100g)instead of neck) week
plus he get 1 kong filled with peanut butter mix with banana and yogurt and treat during training.
He now weigh just over 70#
Sounds like you're on the right Track!!
Just wanted to add, I taught my Raw fed dog the "Drink" command!
She may just take a couple laps, or more, but I know she is staying hydrated!
She's one to get "cauaght up" in activity, esp when younger, & not necessarily take a "time out" for a drink!
Training is same as marker training; I just taught the word association, & used verbal praise!

I pour some water over the raw food.
Dogs don't leave water that has been in contact with blood and meat. LOL

I read back through and didn't see anything, but very possibly missed it.
Was there ever anything that came out that they could point out and say, "Yep. Theres our obstruction."?
I hate to point at the diet and accidentally miss something wrong with the dog, but that turkey wing meal very well could have been a HUGE factor. That is a lot of bone. I know you added more meat, but it would take, by my guesstimation, about an equal amount of meat to balance that out. Then you would be well past the total food amount for the day, so I suspect you didn't add that much meat.
I haven't had time to do the math on the menu you posted.
I don't know. Not something I would want to diagnose over the Internet.
Hopefully it was a fluke, nothing wrong with your dog, and will never happen again.

so nothing funky came out, just poop!
Now with that disgustion cane crap, it smell the same going and out, pretty much same amount. I guess it is some kind of pre digested food.
I cut the turkey wings in smaller pieces and use about 3/4 of the wing weight in MM. His poop was normal for 6 days on that diet.
I will put water in his food now on.

Other wise he is ok, still sleep more then usual, but poop, pee eat and drink normaly and want to play. Ok he want to eat grass, shrubs, bulbs and other things that are coming in a fresh green! oh and the ducks in the pound are on his list for tomorrow's dinner

He was down 3# when he went in, lost one more when he left.
That was when he was loaded with fluid! and was peeing none stop
Yesterday he was down 2 more.
All on the same scale, for accurate result. Before the incident he was just under 73# now he is at 67#

So, how much has he lost since he has been home, actually getting to eat?
Everything before that is moot. He had an obstruction and was getting little food and was under extreme digestive stress. Of course he lost weight.

Just saw where you edited.
That extra 2 lbs. would be expected if he was loaded with fluids and was rapidly ridding himself of them.
You can add more food if you want, but by your description, I see a dog that lost some weight from a traumatic event, not by lack of food. He has barely had a chance to even eat.
So glad to hear he is doing so much better.

He lost 2 # from saturday to sunday night. He eats 2 1/2 can of the vet food. He is stuppose to eat that for 4 more days but I have increase the amount so 3 days.
He was suppose to be on 2 cans of 13.58oz (385g) it doesn't say the caloric content just high energy.
His butt bones and ribs already show more.
He was the one that had pudding poop and weight issue before changing to raw. He was just over 60# in december and made it to near 73 last week.
I was cutting down his food some at that point.
