So Yuko I just might take you up on that! Love the horse! Appie?
Thank you for the comments.
Please do!
Thanks for the comments. Yes, he's an apaloosa gelding named Xerox. That picture of us was taken 2 years or so ago when he was about 4.5 years old and I was 19.
Judy (you commented on another thread, but I'll answer it here lol), I don't actually own him *sniff* but I should, considering that I've been riding him since he was a baby and taught him most of what he knows. He was so crazy when I first rode him; I actually fell off of him back then and broke my shoulder as a result. Yuck
He's awesome though. So talented and athletic (and affectionate, like a puppy!!). Still somewhat insane, but far more educated and polished than when I first rode him (he was 2.5 years old then). I've done a tiny bit of competing in show jumping with him but nothing at a high level. He would certainly be capable of going far, but with someone who has better skills than me. Hee hee.
Sorry Michele, no dancing smilies... maybe you can ask Jason (Sidener) about that. He posted a very weird emoticon in one of our messaging conversations and apparently goes around collecting them.
Poor Brad was misrepresented in some people's brains due to his elaborate forum name. Hee hee... nothing wrong with cashmere, but can't say the same about using crumpets as training treats http://www.gentlesoulsshepherds.com/rotf.gif
Michael, love that pic of Turbo! How's the little fella doing anyway? Wish I could give him a kiss&hug, I feel bad for all he's had to go through.
Lucky him, at least he had you watching over him the whole time!
Was he a pup in that photo you're using now? He looks more compact than the Jack Russels I'm used to seeing. Or maybe he's from some high-end working lines of JRT??
Hehe, you never know... the show ring's done some pretty weird things to a lot of breeds. Sometimes it's hard to recognize the real thing when you see it.
Beautiful dog, hope you post more photos of him.
