Man, I feel so bad for you guys! It's been hot back there for so long now. What is normal for this time of year there anyway? I'm feeling a little guilty about our weather - we had been shrouded in low clouds and fog for the last month (we always have what they call 'May gray and June gloom', but now the sun is shining, there's a nice ocean breeze and it's 75. I will try to send some of it your way!
Hope the heat breaks soon for you! I hate muggy heat too. We'll get it here in September/October. Happens every year when school starts.

Lori, summers in VA always end up getting stinking hot and humid, but this year, it just started way too early. You can pretty much count on July and August sucking, but when it starts in May? Oh man<g>.
Barb...hope your dances and hexes work on your car's AC!

This spring & summer, so far, has been one to NOT want to remember for many of us. The heat & humidity has been record breaking for many areas of the East.
We have not even had much rain in my immediate area for the last few weeks. Most of the rain has gone around us. Everything is parched. With all the heat my yard has become a dust bowl. Now this afternoon with torential thunderstorms...my yard went from dust bowl to swimming pool in a couple of hours! The heat returns tomorrow afternoon after only a 1 day break. I can't stand it anymore & my dogs are miserable & are longing for the 30 degree summy days of winter!

I literally die a little bit every time I walk into the Arizona sun. Sometimes I wonder why I put up with 110-118 degree weather, then October and November hits, and I remember
Nero is getting used to the heat but it's rough. Last night when I walked him at 9pm it was 98 degrees. Ouch! He doesn't really last long and I have to wet him down. Every time we get home he hugs the tile like he missed his best friend. haha

Okay, okay, I'll try to quit whining. I was in Tucson one time and visited the Botanical Gardens (DESERT... beautiful, but DESERT). That was the HOTTEST I have ever been in my life. It may have been "dry" heat, but 120 is hot no matter how dry. You guys hang in there!
Leih, so far, the dancing and chanting are keeping my car's AC safe! LOL!

Heat index of 113 today, and a 6pm baseball game right in the thick of it. I am less than thrilled, I worry about the boys though too, we will start hydrating him mid afternoon!
Our house was 86 degrees at midnight last night even with the AC cranked and the fans running all day.

Oh! So it's your fault it got so hot all of a sudden! Thanks Lori!
I kid But man I hate it too. 92 today, yuck! But the eGGe came in the mail today, so at least I have a toy that will keep Conan busy and not require me to be active in this weather.
