I vote Barbara wins for the cleanest house with a GSD living in it, hands down!!!!!! My house is is wall to wall fur carpet, lol
LOL!!!! AL - this is SO funny! I name our "fur bunnies" and just this afternoon swept out a HUGE colony which had exploded under my chair - literally overnight. Falcon even wanted to play with it, if that gives you an idea as to how serious the bunny was!! TRUST me... when I say you can eat off my floors, it is normally due to the fact that there is something lurking from a previous meal.
Maybe tomorrow I'll post a pic of the floor around Falcon's crate to let everyone see how we REALLY live.
Cleanest house... bwahhahahahhaha! (It really is working...)
We worked some more on this last night and I realized he just flat out doesn't enjoy this trick. We are going to move on to something else this evening, maybe a touch pad.
We were back to him flopping and rolling like a cockroach.
I also realized that after Christmas I will be saving up for a real dog from an outstanding breeder. I haven't even totally settled on a breed yet but do have a short list.
He is a GREAT dog. Loving, sweet, well mannered, gentle....but I miss having a dog that enjoys working. So on top of all of those things my criteria is intelligence, drive, stability and confidence.

Border Collies rule (just quoting what I've read elsewhere here this week...)
So if this breed happens to be on your list, let me know and I can point you toward a couple of breeders to look into
and yes, I'll be voting today. I've got limited high speed access so its taken me a while to watch all of them
I told Doug the other night after re-watching the enthusiasm of the BC that I could picture myself going that route at sometime. If there was a great Schutzhund club nearby I'd most definitely go with a WL GSD, but since there isn't one, but there are a lot of good agility places. a BC just might be in my future...
