I own all 3 books, and I too agree there like College text books..They are advanced and cover everything under the sun...They are not for the novice
Can't say enough about these books simply amazing...

I agree with you about these books being an education, and I don't even have the first volume yet -- just two and three.
OED Bob Scott's recommendation convinced me (because his recommendations for dog books are always right on), and I started acquiring them in reverse order. That works, though.

Now i need to go and buy the second and third book But i will admit i couldent read through the first book, it is a great reffrence but i couldent just sit down and read the whole thing like i wanted to.
