I thought I held pretty close to that, guess I missed something. I mean she is rock solid on nerves. Impulse noises don't phase her. large vehicles she got use to fast. great with kids, Strangers don't bother her. Well behaved in restruants and stores. Dog aggressive but we fixed that. No water or height fears. The helper at the club tried to get her to play with the tug but wasn't interested. Then he started to tease her and use affirtive movements to see some defense, she tried to climb over the tug and bite his face. We stopped there and I told the helper were not going to work her in defense yet. two minutes later all was forgiven and she was hugs and kisses with the helper. So I'll keep playing Sch with her and try another dog sport. Guess I'll have to save up and buy a green dog.
Update, I took away all her "Toys" including her favorite and she's been trapped in the kennel and house for a week due to rain. The first dry day I brought out the tug and the puppy sleeve from Ed, She got on it after all the other puppies got after it especialy if I keep it "alive". Our training director said some puppies mature late and to keep control of the toys better, gee whiz, I wonder where I heard that before
I have two dogs that had a strong preference for particular equipment. I also have a guy in my club, who's old Gallais jambierre was his dogs favorite. Imagine my suprise when I see this and they are DDR or Czech dogs. So the other equipment gets played with, and the reward for the out (or something ending the session) is the favorite. (of course I won't tell you about the other dogs that have favorites like the mals, that way it seems special just to the DDR/Czech GSD's She seems normal to me, as far as this goes.
