One of my Malinois customers has a year old dog she recently purchased. She is having issues with the dog chasing her horses, her VERY expensive RACEHORSES. The dog knows the collar, we used it here with great success but she needs someone to help her work with it...
I think she is willing to travel a bit...
She only wants obedience training now, but protection training is in the dog's future as he matures. Right now we just want the horse chasing under control.
any leads would be most appreciated! Post them on the board or PM me.
Thanks.
*EDITED TO ADD* Cities close to her for possible trainers, I realize Texas is a BIIGGG state! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
San Angelo San Antonio and surrounding area New Braunfels Lubbock
I thought Ed had two video's on the subject, although I didn't see the one involving horses??? Maybe it's not done yet. Does she own the electric collar dvd, or does it not go into enough detail? Tom Brenneman is in Kansas City and available to help her out is she wants to come to KC.
We had our dogs Trained at Triple Crown in Austin Texas (about an hour away from San Antonio, Tx. Chris Rodriguez was the actual trainer we were very pleased with the results. I have heard nothing but good things about Triple Crown.
Hi Cindy!
There is always Dave Kroyer in Austin as well. I believe his website is http://www.canineheadquarters.com
If Houston is an option there is a place around Tomball that trains anything from pets to sportdogs. The trainer is a PSA decoy and owns as well as handles a mal. Their website is at http://www.tricountyk9.com
Maybe that will help.
