You know those 50lb dog food containers with the rubber seal you can buy in the pet stores? Are these suitable also for the dehydrated food from The Honest Kitchen? I think those rubber seals seal it better than the containers that come with the food, but I was wondering if there was any specific reason not to store it like that.
Also I was considering buying a 24oz $15 plastic martini shaker at target so I can mark it off with how much dry food and how much water to add then mix it up with minimal time and mess - has anyone got a better idea for preparing the stuff?
I don't know if my dog likes the stuff yet, he ate a little for breakfast, but his mood this morning isn't very energetic, n when he gets like that he won't eat much so it's hard to guage wether he likes it. I think he does. But I figure since it has to be ordered, I'll buy 40-50lbs at a time and store it in one of those big tubs, that way I don't have to deal with ordering 10lbs every 3 weeks. Need to figure out what to do with the kibble that he doesn't eat anymore, I feel kinda wasteful throwing it in the trash <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
