First off I want to praise Ed for this site. It really is the bible for having a good dog. I have followed Ed's instructions to the letter and it has made a huge difference in my dogs lives. Without going into detail my ex cleaned took off on xmas eve and abducted my son. We found her and are now going thru a big custody battle. My issue is that she now wants my male apbt. I did have issues with the male and female and through Ed's advice they are 2 good dogs again. I used the prong collar training, etc. and these dogs now hang out together and have formed a real bond (Thanks Ed). My ex is not considered their master and has never partook in any of their training. I have spent a lot of time with these dogs and I am their handler. My question to everybody is this.
If she gets a dog, how do you think this will affect them. She wants my male and he can be a handfull if not corrected properly. I worry about the seperation anxiety. I almost feel that if she wants 1 dog, she should take both of them. I want what is best for the dogs. This is ripping me apart. Any help or advice would be great!
