Hello Ted,
I have imported and shipped many dogs ranging from 10 week old pups to a 5 year old female. I have never seen any long term ill effects. I have had everything from the "prostitute" (a dog that jumps into your arms when you open the crate)to the "you're not my owner... don't touch me" to the "touch my crate and I will rip you a new one" from the adult dogs, but in my expereince, if the puppies have a proper stable temperament, there is never even a hint of a problem. They shake it off like nothing. I would never put a pup on a plane (let alone allow it to go to a home) if I was not sure that it's temperament was up to par. These are just my personal standards that I live by.
Regards ~ Triecial
Hi Ted,
I am located pretty much in the middle of nowhere...... smack dab in the middle......... central Saskatchewan <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
That is like... SOOOO far away! Wow. Just curious, what's it cost to fly a dog in from Europe? I'm figuring that since it's freight, it must be a couple hundred dollars US?

I haven't had a shipping quote yet, but if you figure you have to buy the actual crate and pay shipping, I've heard anywhere from $300-500.
Yes that is pretty accurate. It also depends on the size of the crate. I have used a giant Vari Kennel and paid upwards of 800 Euro! Depending on the exchange rate and taxes and fees on arrival and it can easily round out at about 1500 CDN!
