Dale Begg-Smith, a freestyle skier and Internet innovator, won the gold in moguls skiing at the Winter Games in Turin, Italy. It wasn't his first contact with signs of wealth.
Begg-Smith, is a 21-year-old native of Vancouver, British Columbia, who now lives primarily in Melbourne. He not only won the Gold medal in Ski Moguls, he is called Austrailias "SPAM MAN" He is the founder of a Web spam company alledged to make $40,000,000 a year.
He's less than pleased to talk about his business.
In an interview with Australia's Age newspaper published on Feb. 14, Begg-Smith refused to give his company's name. A 2002 news release described him as president of AdsCPM Network. Internet searches didn't find any listing for a company with that name.
When his name is brought up by NBC they simply say he owns a very sucessful internet business. Typical to the NEWS PEOPLE - they fail to let the facts get in the way of a good storey. The guy is a SPAMMER !!!!

I would sooooo support the death penalty for spammers.

First item of torture would be to clean out the 5,500 spam emails that suck up 300 Megs of my department’s site each month! Grrrrrrr!!! Then we’ll see if he can ski faster than my Mal can run. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Vardan Kushnir, Russia's biggest spammer, finally sent out one too many emails last summer. They found him beaten to death in his Moscow apartment last July. http://mosnews.com/news/2005/07/25/spammerdead.shtml
They aren't really certain if it was robbery or plain rough justice.
