Hi. My new Rott pup (baby Yogi) came in Monday night. He had a bath Tuesday morning with Groomax medicated shampoo. I don't know if it's the shampoo or the climate change (WA to GA) or whatever but the little guy can't walk now without scratching. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The first thing I would try would be to rince him again with clear water and message the skin really good. The skin should have produced some oils since the bath and this should spred it around and get off any irritant (soap) that might be there.
Walt,
My chow mix bitch itches a lot too. Switching her to a natural diet has helped tons. I like the rinsing suggestion, may just need to get the soap off. Is your pup also chewing his feeties? This may indicate an allergy rather than a skin problem.
This could also be an allergy to the shampoo used. The rinse should help, but only time will stop the itching if an allergy. You might want to switch shampoo brand.
