My pup has a bump under her armpit of the left shoulder. It feels like a ball and everytime I touch it it "slips" if you know what I mean. Like it isn't connected to a bone but it is definetely there. It feels like the size of a med. bouncy ball. I was just wondering if I should be concerned. I feel terrible and I think I'm going to call the vet. Is this going to affect her in getting dysplasia or anything?
What should I do, is this normal for her age?
If it's not causing the dog any pain, it's likely a bursa - but getting advice regarding medical questions over the internet is never wise.
Go to your vet!
