I recently got a good deal on 30# of pork necks. However, even though they have been cut down to size - about 7 oz. each - my pups (10 mos. old) seem to take quite a while to chew them up and the biting and crunching they do sounds like serious business! Also, later in the evening I will find pieces of bone that one, or both, of them has apparently spit up. Does anyone else have this problem? I know many of you do feed pork necks. I'm trying to decide if they are too hard or not, and I'm not one to grind anything up.
Pork necks are great for dogs, be glad he takes a while to finish them instead of gulping. The most beautiful sound in the world is the crunching of bones.
