Anybody out there ever have a dog who suffered from this injury - Achilles Tendon Disruption (aka Dropped Hock) involving a complete rupture of the gastrocnemius tendon? I'm specifically looking for any advice on post-op rehab.
Nobody out there has ever had a dog who cut/injured/ruptured its Achilles??
OK, so maybe there's somebody out there who could comment on the effectiveness of alternative rehab therapies such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation or pulsed magnetic field therapy?
We're definitely planning to do hydrotherapy, but I'm looking for a way to keep my dog in shape while he's recovering and also to restore normal function of the affected leg.
