Ugh! Using the search button on this board seems to be an exercise in futility more often than not for me. Am I the only one who gets frustrated with it?? Apologies if this question was raised before but couldn't find any previous threads <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> !
My sister wants to buy a white GSD. She asked if I would put the question out there on this board relating to the experiences of other white GSD owners. We can read till the cows come home (and she will) but hearing firsthand experiences are very valuable. I've told her repeatedly that I hold this board in high regard and that much can be learned from the collective years of experience in dog behavior, training, breeding, etc.
Temperment and health comments would be wonderful. If I'm lucky enough to hear from someone on a breeder of white shepherds in NY or NJ, that would be really awesome <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> !

Here's what I did.
Clicked on "search." Set the "forums to search" to "ALL forums." Used "White GSD" as my search term....in quotation marks. Enter.

Judy, have you read the sticky that's at the start of *every* forum called "The "Search" function....."?
It explains how to use the search function step-by-step - I don't see how I could have explained the use of the search function any easier in that thread. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

*Now* I know how folks miss that "search" sticky. (I received a PM someone to whom I recommended the board.) They click on "search" from a place like the "active topics" list instead of from the individual forums!
I wondered about that (people having trouble with "search") ever since Will did that sticky, and now I know. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
