My 4 1/2 month old Mal is starting to really pick up the pace on the track. The tracks are 75 to 100 yards. I use food every 4 or 5 steps, but he his passing up almost all of it to get to the food at the end. The track usually has two or three turns (not hard corners, but serpentine type turns). I have to jog at a pretty good pace to keep up and its almost like he is starting TTD. TTD is my goal, but I don't want to get ahead of ourselves. So, should I be trying to slow him down, or let him run?
Ed can you explain a little more about the problems a teething pup can have while tracking? My boy is just starting to teeth and I don't want to do something that may compromise him. thanks.
