I believe that they are liquid electrolyte replenisher. I don't know if they contain any vitamins or other ingreedents. That may depend on the brand. I think that they are not much different than feeding stressdex or one of the other electrolyte powders mixed with water. I feed very small amount ( 1/2 teas) of stressdex powder mixed into my dogs am feeding in ONLY the really hot, humid weather when they are working HARD training. NOT on a daily basis. Maybe 2X's a week at the most. Usually on Sunday am feeding after their hard training on Saturday & then maybe on Wed am feeding. I think I remember this having been discussed before in some contex. There may be others that can add more.

I use K-9 Quencher for my lab when hiking in hot weather, our when we do some tracking work. Since she is jet black, she can get pretty hot. I don't like her to drink from just any source. She carries at least 2 liters of clean water in her backpack, balanced on each side. I will put the K-9 quencher in one of the bottles. She seems to like it and it does seem to help on those long hot summer hikes. I get mine in three flavors from Active K-9. I havn't seen this exact product anywhere else, but some of my SAR friends use and like it.
I filter the water both for myself and my dog. She probably gets a lot of lake water while swimming, after all she is a Lab, but I really watch letting her drink out of puddles etc. on the trail.
I also use it with her on hot days doing agility, again it seems to help and she likes it.

PS It doesn' taste too bad, I know because I don't let my dog eat or drink anything that I wont eat or drink.
