My GSD puppy is almost 5 months old now, and both his ears were completely up about 3 weeks ago, up until about a week ago. Now they are both floppy. I was wondering if it had something to do with him breathing hard all the time now, and if he was just feeling hot or something. Should I try taping now? (I think he has 2 or 3 baby teeth left.)

go to the "main index" and look for ed's article on ears/taping. sounds to me like you don't need to freak just yet. ears go up/down when they're teething--wait til he/she's done teething before pushing the panic button.
Jäger's ears were up, they flopped down, one up one down, then they traded, and finally they were in-side out for a week or so.
I was patient and it worked out, Your pup's body is see-sawing as it grows. Our boy looked goofy most of the time, but he out grew it. Make sure it's a real problem before you cure it.
