Has little to do with my dogs, other than they are arrayed around me as I type. Comforting, they are, at times. And I probably shouldn't offer the following but... I was listening to a song titled "The 8th of November," sung by Big and Rich. It has its origins in the heroism of Lawrence Joel, Medal of Honor recipient, with the 173rd Airborne, Viet Nam. It is remarkable how a dog can sense a mood. I commend the song to to you. But, in truth, it may be more meaningful to some than others.
