October 20th is open field day, it is not mandatory to compete, but it is HIGHLY recommended if you have never seen ASR before and want to compete. October 21st is the day the trialing will start (Sat). October 22nd is for overflow. Come out and see the best test of a PP dog available in America and IMO EU included. Visit the below link for more trial info.
Dennis thats awesome, we'll finally be able to meet. Well, I'll be pretty disposed of, I'm competing in the level one and I'll be decoying the other levels, but we always go out and eat breakfast and dinner, so we'll manage some social time in there
I think at least half of our Sch club will be there, I think you met Dmitrio already, he wouldn't miss it for the world. I don't have a dog even close to doing what you guys are doing, this looks like fun
Chris, I hope to be there if there's no conflict between my kitchen assignments and the trial!
Betty,
I certainly miss you guys. God do I miss training over there!!! I'm about to get out of the military, before Thanksgiving. I'm going to get down to Kens when he has a week to spare to train everyday. Get a really good productive training week in. From one weekend to the next weekend. So I'll see you again real soon. I'll be making regular trips to Kens probably in the area of once a month or every other month to train. That guy is loaded with knowledge that I'd pay a fortune for (thank God we're good friends . So now that military obligations will be gone, I'll be more free to make excursions to Ken's place.
Will, that'd be awesome man. I hope you can get there, and some how get ken's butt dragged in your van, or behind it or strapped on top of it, whatever it takes to get him there. That would be totally cool to have us all together again. I hope you can atleast make it, You and Jamie saddle up and have a doggie type honeymoon weekend
PS: I'll call you this weekend. I'm going to start my VA process sometime in the next two weeks
I have gotten some PM's from folks asking if it costs to come out to the trial and spectate. No, it only costs if you plan to compete. Spectating is welcome. This is the first ASR trial in the VA area. So we invite everyone to come out and see this awesome program. The hosts Cavalier K9 are great hosts also, you WILL have a good time. Again the trial is OCT 20-22.
