HI Cat; we feed our pups Innova lg. breed puppy until they are 12 months old; then gradually switch them to the adult formula. We like to supplement with fish oil caps and add a little (thawed) frozen "Steve's Real Food" to "breakfast". Our dogs have done really well on that combo. We've had very little tummy-trouble or gas <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
I feed Annie, my Dobe, Embark from THK. What do you all feed your Dobe's and do they have very sensitive stomachs or is that just my Annie?
What is considered a sensitive stomach? Since we rescued our growing boy two months ago (he's 10 months old now), he has had 4 overnight bouts of diarrhea. Fortunately, he's smart enough to point his butt out the wire crate, but it was still a MESS.
It seems as though stress leads our boy to have loose bowel movements.
My wife wants to nickname him "Pumpkin" for all the canned pumpkin we've already fed him to help settle his intestines.
We feed him almost exclusively Bravo Raw Diet twice a day, morning and night. I'm slowly incorporating a midday "snack" of kibble. I have a small bag of Canidae that I'm looking to finish off. After that, we've going to switch to the Innovo EVO.
Hate to say it but feeding dogs is not breed specific. Your feeing good dog food. Got to the part of this site on feeding http://leerburg.com/feedingdogs.htm Then scroll down and read the Q&A section that Cindy wrote last month. Its very good.
well it depends for my 2 pups i feed chop meat cooked up with some Eukanuba Puppy Large Breed Formula together or cooked up chicken shreded up and for the 2 adults i feed choped meat cooked or chicken cooked up and shredded with Royal Canin (4800) Energy Dog Food good for working dogs and they love it there all very active so they tear up the food nothing left licked clean
The breeder I got my pup from recommended feeding her rice and boiled turkey, cottage cheese and a boiled egg.
Not always all together.
I fed her that when I first got her, and now it's for special meals. Sometimes I'll drop some cottage cheese on her puppy kibble I now feed her, and she laps that up quick.
