I'm in the process of moving so there is allot of chaos around the house. I was showing a moving company rep around so she could get an estimate as to how much weight they would be shipping. On our way out of the back yard she left the gate open. I said goodbye in the driveway and went inside. About an hour later I was leaving to have lunch with a friend. Bruno came out to say goodbye. This is when I realized the gate had been left open. Later in the day a friend and I were moving my snakes cage from the basement, through the backyard and into the front of the house. It's to big and heavy to manuever through the indoor staircase. Again, on both occasions, the gate was accidentally left open by my friend. I went outside a few minutes ago to pitch some trash and found Bruno sitting at the open gate in the backyard. I've used the info from Ed's video about shutting the dogs head in the door if he exit's without permission for some time now and Bruno is very obedient to it. Sometimes I'll forget about him being on leash in the house and he'll remind me when I enter a room by sitting which jerks his leash back. Thanx for the technique Ed. It probably saved my hyde today, several times.
