I'm in the Air Force and it really torques me that I can't live in base housing, which usually suck anyway but is the only place I can afford because I have a Dobe who is a sweetheart. Thanks for that post Val.

So far as I can tell there aren't any breed restrictions (yet!)for the military in my area. We have a ton of military clients and they seem to have whatever kind of breed they want. Maybe grandfathered?
For non-military it is another story. We had our hearts set on a GSD but I rent a home and the owner's insurance won't allow it.
