Sorry to say, but sitmeanssit here in Vegas is not looked up on.
Those dogs are on a electric collar 24/7 >they advocate the use of electronic collar way too much. You have people who know nothing about training, they have'nt taken ONE obedience class with their dogs.Yet they hire "sitmeanssit" to teach their dogs a few things , fix problems they might have with their dog and guess what, withing minutes of "sitmeanssit" is there at their home they are told to buy a electronic collar ,no matter what the problem is , no matter what age the pup is.These people are left with an electronic collar (they purchased from sit means sit)and leave the collar on 24/7 to take off only to be charged. And I can say I know that because I had a neighbor that hired them to help them with their lab pup .When I saw their dog by then it was 2 years old, I kid you not it looked as if his soul had been taken away, it had been electronically shocked all it's life for barking, looking the wrong way, sitting the wrong way, layingdown the wrong way, not coming fast enough,ect...and he was never taught through a leash any commands.I can't say all "sitsmeanssit" are bad. If you look at that tape of the pit in the dog park, it's on a e-collar and let me say a lot of dogs can do that with an e-collar on. When the dog is running to "search" the kid in the tree the dog did not once track for "the lost child" it could see him , I would like to see a dog track for a victim not use it's eyes only cause in the real world of SAR dogs don't see the victim from start.I would like to see that dog off the e-collar to see how much control it really has and see a real exercise on a search. Sorry I have nothing positive to say about "sitsmeanssit".
