Today I was playing with my pup today and found what I believe to be a bump on her forearm. To me it feels hard like bone and it sits a couple inches up from her wrist on the outer side of her forearm. She doesn't have this on her other front leg. Does anyone know what this could possibly be?
Another question, my pup seems to have a lot of loose skin, does this mean she will still be getting bigger? My older shepherd has very tight skin.
She will be a year old in 2 days and she was diagnosed with Pano about 4 months ago, but hasn't showed any signs of it in a while. I weighted her recently and she is 80 lbs.
I believe GSDs mature at around 2 years of age, so she still has some filling out to do, which may be why she has so much loose skin. I've only had one GSD but I've had 3 Collies and the two breeds seem to have similar maturity patterns. If I'm off on this, I'm sure one of the more experienced GSD owners will correct me.
