Does anyone know how well an open tube of Advantage will store? Afer Auster's untimely passing I am left with a 13lb cat and 7 large dog Advantage tubes. I have been considering drawing out a cat sized dose and storing the rest for the next month but thought I would see if anyone has any experience storing it.
Forgot to add: I was thinking about covering the top of the tube with either parafilm or glad press n seal (I suspect they are very similar), setting it upright in a tinted Rx bottle, and putting it in the fridge. I was hoping that would cover light, air, and temp so it should last.

If I remember correctly, someone had mentioned that the cat & dog formulas are slightly different and could cause some reactions if swapped. I'd check into it before thinking about it any further.
I have been using the dog formula on him for several years now. He is pretty screwed up, but I don't think that is the reason <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> .
