She's 15lbs now, so she's getting about 20 - 24 oz / day. Half a game hen at a meal by itself would be just about right but I still do about 50% THK Embark though, so maybe 1/4 game hen for the meals where she is getting chicken, maybe 3-4 meals/week.
I've never seen any problems with the bones in the full size wings as long as I have held it for her, but when she swallowed 3 sections at a time fully intact that just overwhelmed her digestive system.
I've got some really good ideas to try. I'll report back in a few weeks as to what has/hasn't worked well.
Just wanted to drop a quick note to thank everyone for your advice. She is doing much better with the chicken backs and pork necks. She still tries to gulp but the backs are too big and she's forces to chew more.
The local grocer actually had a 20lb box of backs that someone ordered for their dog and never came to pick up. I started with just a few pounds, but she's done so well I'll go back for the rest, and at .39/lb there a lot cheaper then the wings which is always a good thing.

Good deal, Keith.
I really like chicken backs as a great cartilage-y dog food... much better than wings.
If she(your dog) weighs 15 lbs total, and you are feeding her 24oz (2 lb) a day that seems alot to me, is this wrong?
My female weighs 78 lbs and she gets 28 oz a day.
I know I am feeding the right amount, are you keith?

I think he mentioned the dog was a puppy, so he's probably feeding 10% of the dogs weight. 15(lbs) x 16(oz) = 240 x 10% = 24(oz)
