HI All,
Last Sunday evening here in Virgina we had an ice storm. In the ice storm heading south bound on Interstate 81 (Buchanan exit) a wonderful person was driving home with her newly adopted rescue Giant Schnauzer "Hope". This woman was cut off by a truck and had a car accident her airbags deployed and her newly adopted rescue Giant schnauzer was ejected from the vehicle.
She needs help. She has put flyers out, truckers and others have called saying they have seen Hope but.....
Apparently a female trucker from Covenant Trucking Company heading north on I81 was seen trying to entice the dog to come with her and since this sighting no one has seen the dog. The woman with the help of some other truck drivers is trying to get in touch with this corporation (which is HUGE) to locate this female truck driver.
If anyone out there can offer some assistance or if more people can get the word out it would be greatly appreciated. They are all thinking that this Covenant Truck driver possibly has the dog.
This woman is heart broken not only did she loose her new dog but her purse was stolen as well during the incident.
Thank you for any help
Michelle
