I know I personally would prefer we could add a photo as our Avatar rather than for the signature line. I know I have dialup, and when there's a page to be downloaded with a ton of photos in the signatures, it takes forever or they don't download at all.
The avatars are a much more manageable size, also don't distract me from the brillant verbage of our postings!

Maybe we should see about getting a specific category for pics like was posted earlier. ??? I stayed really small for my sig pic, but if it is interfering in anyway with anyone's ability to get on board and read, I'd much sooner take it out.
I'm going to send admin a mail now about this issue and see what happens.
I could be wrong but I do not think we are technically posting a picture, I think we are posting to a link which automatically displays our picture. I know absolutely nothing about computers this is just me looking at it from a common sense perspective so I could very well be flat wrong.
To save people the trouble of posting to test out if their pics worked or not....
There is a "Preview" button under your signature section in "My Profile."
If you hit it, your picture should pop up, immediately, in your profile section. You do not have to post on a thread to see if it works. If it doesn't, you did something wrong.
I'd be really happy to help anyone that needs it! David?
