Picked up puppy today. so far he is all I could ask for. Breath is sweet, teeth and nails like needles, going to try and get a little sleep as plan on getting up in a little while to let him out. I have to learn how to do the pics as I am proud of him already and want you all to see him!
Ah, brand new puppies are so cute. Sweet breath, sharp teeth and claws, and oh all those nights of crying and whining for comfort from mommy. Oh those sleepless nights-LOL everybody's been there and in the end, it's soo worth it. Best of luck to you Mitch, and try and get some sleep(take a nap at work if ya can, lol, j/k).
Remember to take plenty of photos and videos. They grow up so quickly and you always wish you had more puppy videos to look back on... Happy sleeplessness!!
Give the little guy a kiss for me will ya? Lucky you, a brand new shiny baby puppy
Waiting for pics! Do take videos too, like Yuko said. Videos are priceless. (You think you'll remember everything they did, but you don't, like the cute way they trot, the way they devour their food, the way they devour you, etc.)
well, mitch, i can't agree about puppy-breath (i think it smells like worms), but the rest (no sleep, constant lacerations,etc)--have fun!
what's the breeding? male/female? pics are really easy once you get the hang of it, so rather than sleep, practice picture-posting. can't wait to see it!
oh, they get over it at about 4 months, then they go into "teething breath" (which isn't quite so bad), then into grown-up breath which i don't mind at all!!
