Victoria Jones Webboard User Reg: 02-17-2007 Posts: 23 Loc: Florida Offline	My boyfriend and I are going to Texas (we live in FL) this summer to visit his family. They have 2 dogs who are very aggressive, and we can't bring our 15 month old golden retriever with us. My question is, approximately how much would it cost to put her in a kennel for about 6 days? Is she too young to be put in a kennel? I'm really afraid to put her into the hands of a stranger (none the less in a cage) for almost a week, but maybe I'm just being paranoid and overprotective. We don't have any close friends where we live who could keep her since we don't live here permanently, so if we can't find a safe place for her, we can't visit my boyfriend's family, and that is hardly an option. What do you suggest?

Other than he ate about half of what he should of, all seemed to go well. Rates around here are anywhere from $14 to $30 per day depending on the facility. Definately do the surprise visits. :-) Oh and my very QUIET BOY learned to bark at the kennel. Oh Well! Louanne
