Many many dogs die every year from vaccines.
What exactly is this?
This is web sites, links, & info on vaccines, and
of one book in partiular,
What Vets Don't Tell You About Vaccines
by Catherine O'Driscoll.
I have lost a dog to the all mighty vaccine.
I say again, What exactly is this, (INFORMATION).
Ask Ed the owner of this forum if he vaccinates his dogs, and see what he thinks about vaccines.
I have been doing some research on this for over a year now, and yes I did read the book that was mentioned by C. O'Driscoll, and I for one am glad that it gave a lot of people on this site the oppertunity to not only use the web sites that Russsell posted but maybe to get people thinking about doing research on their own.
I know it will boil down to ones own personal choice to vaccinate or not to vaccinate.I am going to have titer's done on my dogs this year. That is the choice that I have made.
Here's a quote from an article read a while back by a veterinarian/Dr. Bob Rogers.
"Giving vaccines at one or two year intervals does not enhance the immune system of the dog. It doesn't benefit the public health; it benefits the veterinarians. We do make our money off of giving shots."

No I'm not Shalako, I'm Russell Verdin.
I'm just trying to get the information out
about vaccines.
The two last post before mine sums it up just fine.
I Russell Verdin am in xtreme error.
I forgot to post the authors name in my post.
I apologize for my ignorance.
The authors name is Bette Wynn owner of
Schalako Schippers Kennel.
And I have her permission to post The Vaccine
Controversy.
Once again I apologize.
Hi Russell,
This all happened 12 months ago, update follows. I lost 4 pups and nearly lost the whole litter, I caused enough stink with my questions that the vaccine company concerned ended up flying a rep 3000km to see me but unfortunatly for them he only stirred me up more instead of shuting me up.
The end result of the investigation by the company concerned and the AVPMA was quote “ the puppies initial clinical signs ( pain at injection site, diarrhea, depression and anorexia) are possibly related to the use of this product.”
“ However, there is no scientific data to support a direct link between administration of this vaccine and the development of coccidiosis post-vaccination.”
“ There is no evidence to support the tenet that live parvovirus vaccines can revert and cause disease.”
BULL***T
In the last month or so a lot of dog magazines and newspapers in the UK have printed stories about this issue, 31 vets wrote an article together about overvaccination and had it published in a Vet Journal and mags and papers picked it up and ran with it, lots of feedback pro and con, the issue is alive and gaining support re overvaccination and the associated problems and more pet owners are becoming educated on the problems and deaths caused by MLV vaccines.
If you are interested PM me and I will send you the story of my pups and the answers I recieved from the vax company and the AVPMA. Basicly the same wording everyone else has recieved when they report adverse reactions, I think they must have a standard letter to answer everyone that reports an adverse reaction and just change the name, date and circunstances.
The fight goes on.
