Thank you. Max seems to be doing pretty good now. His weight is going back up and his drive is back to normal. I'm just finishing out the antibiotics. The doc said I should get him on prozyme. I had my female on it before but never had Max on it.

What a relief!
Did you get a diagnosis?
I think probiotics is a very good plan after antibiotics.
No I didn't get a diagnosis other than a low grade fever that indicated an infection. His urinalysis came back clean. Though he lost a lot of weight (almost 9 lbs.) none of it was muscle because the doc said there was no protein in his urine. It freaks me out a little because I was just switching over to raw. Now he won't touch the chicken. I'm going out in a minute to train and I'll find out if he ate the wing I put in his food last night.
I've been watching My dog pretty close and he seems to be doing fine. His drive is back up and he's steadily gaining weight again. I haven't weighed him yet but I'll bet he's between 85 and 88 right now. He's just about back to where he was. I have noticed something about his eating habits though: he won't eat the raw chicken anymore since he got sick. Do you think this is his way of saying that this is the stuff that made me sick? My female hasn't had any problen with it and she seems to like the raw food.
