Hey, my dog has some lumps on his underside. I am not sure if they have developed into lumps from hotspots, but I am almost certain that the lumps are where the hotspots were. They started as small sores with scaleish (dry skin) on top that would flake off if he scratched at them. I sprayed this spray that the vet gave me and it seemed to fix the problem except now there are a few large bumps on his underside. Whenever I touch or pet them it seems like they are sensitive to him. Does anyone know what these might be? And could they be tumors of some sort? He is only 15 months old.

Thanks.
He needs to go to the vet. Cysts, benign tumors, or whatever -- there is no way to diagnose it on the internet.
Good luck. Let us know what happens at the vet visit.
I had to go to a different vet before I got my dog's issues diagnosed. Can you believe that the problems were as simple as a yeast infection in the ear and that the shar-pei in him leads to skin surface infections. Very easy treatment but the previous vet had no idea and he lived with it much longer than he should have.
