For instance, can you specifcally list what would be best to feed and how much of each item? Also, can these items be purchased at regular supermarkets? (Such as Super Wal-Marts?) Also, should he be fed once a day? Or Twice a day? Is it good to supplement with Olewo and The Missing Link Plus? Could you also include a rough estimate of how much it would cost monthly? He is a 14 month old GSD who gets a good amount of exercise daily. Thanks everyone!

Every item can be found at any supermarket, except the salmon oil, which is easy to find: http://www.leerburg.com/47.htm I would print out one of those meal plans and make my shopping list from that. It's easiest (IMO) to start with one of those balanced menus exactly, and get a feel for what the meals look like, and add variety later. The vitamin E can be found in any drugstore, grocery store, or natural foods store. It costs about 2.5% of your dog's pounds (weight) times the amount you pay for the RMBs/meat. If you're paying $1.25/pound, for a 70-pound dog, that's approximately $2 a day. If you pay less per pound, it's less. I feed twice a day for deep-chested breeds like GSDs.
