It is highly likely that this time next year I'll be heading off to vet school on Grenada. And according to people that have already done so, getting a 85lb GSD dog down there will be a hassle.
Right now there are a couple options. One is to fly him down using American Airlines or the same airline I fly. This has some problems associated with temperature bans during the times I need to ship him down. As well problems with layovers.
The option I'm leaning towards right now is Amerijet. It seems people have heard of others having "bad experiences" but what that means I can't tell. I've emailed them multiple times and they seem to be a decent option.
My question for you all is whether or not anyone has experience shipping a dog to the Caribbean or using Amerijet or any other option.
It's definitely do-able, just a hassle. And I'm already fully aware of the veterinary requirements associated, mainly concerned with the logistics of transport.
