Fado is half brother to Asko v d Lutter, winner of the 2000 BSP & 2000 WUSV. He is considered one of the greatest, if not the greatest sire living today. He is now 13 years old. Take a look at how many of the dogs competing in recent years BSP & WUSV are sired or grandsired by Asko. He is also the grandsire of the 2006 WUSV & 2000 BSP winner, Caro. I myself have an 18 mo grandson of Asko through Roman Seibels' dog, Janoch. He is everything I could ask for in a schutzhund dog. Fado himself has a very strong pedigree, both top & bottom.
I am not familiar with the mother line on this possible breeding. I take that comment back. The mother line goes back to great Tiekerhook dogs & Greif who was fantastic.

I am not familiar with dam's side but my female has same pedigree (Andy) on top, just different father. She is solid nerved and has great drive. She is aloof with strangers but will tolerate a pet. I would say a somewhat serious girl in protecting our home. I know for a fact she wouldn't hesitate if someone walked in unannounced.
She is working on her CDX and T in the AKC venue. Has nice attitude in her obedience and always happy and willing to work. Very bonded to me.
Of course since this dog is over a year I would have hip prelims done.
