I appreciate the the comments. I enjoy having an owner watch their dog change before their eyes. It's a great feeling. Rebekah will be successful in rehabilitating Thor as long as she continues to do her part and gain more knowledge from others on this board and from the multitude of training articles.
AHA! So you're "Howard". THAT makes a bit more sense. I didn't know you were "The" Howard ...and I felt her post was a bit brief to come to a "weak nerves" conclusion. I feel like it's kinda becoming a catch phrase/excuse these days for people not working w/whatever dog they happen to have, and was a little concerned that some random "behaviorist" with little GSD knowledge had told her this. I get a little jumpy when a PET trainer tries to comment on the behavior of a working dog (ie, if it bites, it must be a "fearbiter", and if it's aggressive, well, clearly it's been mistreated from puppyhood ). Sooo, I feel much better now. Apparently, I missed the part where she said she was going to see you, in particular, for an eval. Thanks for clarifying.

Not a problem. Chances are that I might have confused her some by trying to cram too much info into her brain in a 2 hour session. I do that sometimes :-)
Im not great at relaying information, but I am SO greatful for Howard being willing to meet me. Hopefully I'll have some great progress to report soon! He is doing so much better already! Thanks again, Howard.
