With big turkeys being given away at local supermarkets, I was wondering if feeding big hunks of raw turkey to my dogs is going to mellow them out for a period of time. Is this ridiculous? I pay more now for turkey necks than what whole turkeys going for now.
It hasn't had an effect on my dog. Fill that freezer while they are cheap! I bought one and stuffed it for myself a little over a week ago, and Gunther moaned and groaned the whole time I was stuffing it... I think he thought it was doggie heaven. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Biggest chicken he ever saw!
I am just starting on raw diet and since I never buy turkeys I did not do it this time either. I was actually in a supermarket on Thursday walking past all the turkeys, looking for some chicken legs, thinking . . . God knows what.
