It stands for an internet term "post office protocol". Or, if your into the weather, it stands for "probability of precipitation"LOL.
I've never heard of "POP" in dog training other than "give a good pop on the leash" or something like that.
What they're saying is that we have no idea what *POP* is supposed to stand for in re dog training. Can you put it in some sort of context and we can attempt to extrapolate from there??
When referring to retrievers, it's when a dog is sent for a retrieve and looks back at the handler for directions instead of continuing on in the direction sent.
