I just joined the Leerburg forum. I am interested in knowing if anyone can share any feedback on the Professional Canine Center in Frenchtown, NJ run by Andres Aportela.
I saw a similiar question posted back in 2004 on 1 of the forums, but it had no responses. Any help would be appreciated. I currently have my dog Max being trained by 1 of his graduates. I am thinking about becoming a student of Andres, which you may already know is $$$$$.
Thanks so much,
Nancy (feel free to PM me)
Andres is *the* man in NJ, as far as I'm concerned.
He has the many years of experience and titles to show for it, as well as the Law Enforcement credentials for training.
He's coached a fair amount of handler teams to succeed at the upper levels of dog sports, not to mention the number of times that he's been on the podium himself.
I'd feel comfortable recommending as a serious, professional trainer.
Ummm, since I've functioned as a professional dog trainer myself for several years, I don't tend to train with schools ( at my level, most of us learn our new tech's at seminars ).
And I train my own dogs.
But if I was a beginner and that school was near me, I'd attend it.
