How many connoisseurs of fine Czech GSD's out there currently or in the past have Galant z Pohranicni straze progeny? What dominate traits do you see in your dog? Have you achieved titles on your dog?
My Cerro is a 16 month sable male out of Galant and Daja Cierna vdova. He is a happy dog with intense drives. He is extremely eager and capable in bitework and tracking. He is eager to please in obedience and a fast learner. Physically he is extremely strong (like a bull in the china cabinet). There has been some "sharpness" which I am actively working out for his BH.
For as much as this dog has been bred and being from a high profile kennel, I have not heard a lot about his offspring as they are mostly still young. Cerro is a nice young dog.
Galant himself is a striking, bruiser of a dog from the video's I have seen. I have never seen any scores or heard about him in any trials since he went ZVV3 and that was it. Then again, I could be misinformed...........
I have a Galant gal. She is 28 months old. I received her via Eurosportu at 3 mnoths old. She is a rocket, with never ending energy. Full bite and drive up the you know what. She is on the smaller side and finer boned but exactly what I need. She was certified under the International Police Work Dog Assoc. as a cadaver dog at 21 months.
She is aloof to strangers, Obsessive compulsive and a
work a holic.
