I looked up in fish and game's website, and the only thing it brought up to look for was tapeworm cysts. Other than that, it should be peachy. Regardless, I'm gonna cut it up tonight, check it, and package it to be frozen. I'm starting to get excited about this. o_<

Plus, all the meat went to the place they take it normally to get butchered up and packaged all nice. 500lbs of meat would be a hassle, and that's including missing half a moose.

Then the remaining part is for him and another buddy, but I have freezer rights at my parent's house. I'm glad he got my message to save the liver. He didn't have his phone ( I called his friend. ) and they don't have them on while out, but he called me today to say he had it for me. I'm so excited and would never have known about raw feeding and it's goods without this site. I'm still not gonna start for a while, gather up everything to the tee, as well as I can anyways. I've talked to my boyfriend as well on what I was gonna do, and he's all for it. I'm sure my pup can't wait either.

I feel bad for the old guy (he has since gone to the big bone in the sky- 17yrs old)I wish I had known more about feeding raw. My new dog BIndi loves it and has really improved in the following ways: Her coat, for a terrier mix is shinny and healthy, her skin isn't as dry, she has tons more energy (like she needed it! Yikes!) and if building up muscles in her legs and filling out in her body. I would recommend it to anyone. May God bless you Sharon Empson Sharon Empson
